Chairs: Joshua Quaye Oversees annual internal audit per LGBTQ+ Lawyers LA bylaws (to be submitted to Board 150 days before end of fiscal year); also oversees external audit. | Board Development Oversees new board member recruitment, conducts member training, organizes Board retreat in coordination with ExComm, and promotes retention and leadership development. |
Communications & David J. Richardson Oversees development and functionality of organization's website, coordinates with other committees re their communication needs, and distributes member announcements and public releases. | Finance Chairs: Robert Winson Prepares and submits annual budget to Board for approval by end of fiscal year. | Gala Plans and coordinates all aspects of the LGBTQ+ Lawyers LA's Annual Gala, held in early spring. The Gala, our biggest event of the year, is an evening reception where we present an individual leader with our Co-Presidents Award, a community organization with our Community Service Award, and a corporate or government partner with our Corporate-Government Partner of the Year Award, and swear in the LGBTQ+ Lawyers LA Board of Governors. |

Chairs: Perla P. Esquivel & Tasha Hill Encourages and facilitates pro bono participation for LGBTQ+ Lawyers LA members through the coordination and development of pro pono projects and opportunities. | Chairs: Cameron Faber Oversees the procurement and administration of insurance policies issued to the LGBTQ+ Lawyers LA. Manages any claims that arise under the insurance policies. Communicates with the Board regarding re the same. |
