The LGBTQ+ Lawyers Association of LA is proud to offer this highly-informative CLE to our members & friends.
With all the noise around AI, it can be difficult to tell what’s actually useful for lawyers. This 1-hour CLE — qualifying for the new Technology in the Practice of Law credit — takes a practical, user-focused look at how to integrate AI tools into everyday legal work. We’ll cover specific examples of how AI can improve efficiency, streamline repetitive tasks, and expand your capabilities, while also addressing its limits, ethical concerns, and data-security issues.
Attendance is FREE to active LGBTQ+ Lawyers Association of LA and members of sibling LGBTQ+ Lawyer organizations, and only $25 for non-members (it pays to be a member!).
Presented by Matthew French (he/him).
Matthew French is a California attorney representing wildfire victims and others harmed by large-scale disasters. He manages hundreds of complex cases and uses AI tools daily to improve organization, streamline discovery, and enhance client service. Before entering law, he spent eight years as a science and health educator with the Los Angeles Unified School District, experience that informs his clear, practical approach to technology and communication in the legal field.
Online registration WITH BAR NUMBER is required to attend and obtain MCLE Credit. This class is eligible for 1.0 hour of CLE Technology in the Practice of Law Credit. The LGBTQ+ Bar Association of Los Angeles is State Bar of California CLE provider.
