How to Join LGBTQ+ Lawyers Association of Los Angeles

You are eligible for membership if you are a Los Angeles or Orange County-based attorney or person involved in the legal system who supports the mission of the organization.

Lifetime Member - $1,000.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited Lifetime Members pay a one-time fee and do not pay to renew membership in any subsequent years.

Sustaining Member - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Special recognition by name on the organization website.

Lawyer (Category 4) - $100.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For attorneys with annual income over $100,000.

Lawyer (Category 3) - $40.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For attorneys working for non-profits, judicial officers, attorneys employed by any governmental agency, and attorneys earning from $60,000 to $100,000 annually. Employer must be listed in profile for approval.

Non-Lawyer Legal Professional - $30.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments All paralegals, court reporters, legal secretaries, non-attorney mediators, and other persons employed in the legal profession. Employment must be listed in profile for approval.

Awaiting Bar Exam Results - Free Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For law school graduates awaiting bar exam results; you have up to one year free membership after graduation from law school. Your law school graduation date must be listed in your profile for approval. This membership terminates upon admittance to a state bar or one year after graduation, whichever comes first.

Law Student - Free Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Membership is free to law school students. In order to be approved as a Law Student member, you must provide a valid school email in your profile.

Lawyer (Category 1) - Free Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For attorneys admitted to bar less than one year.
You must list, in your profile, your state bar number and what state you are licensed in, in order to be approved.

Lawyer (Category 2) - Free Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For any attorney earning less than $60,000 annually. Before membership is approved, the bar will request follow up information from applicant at this level.
