2025 LA Fire Relief Volunteer Opportunities with Neighborhood Legal Services of LA County
Neighborhood Legal Services of LA County (NLSLA) is seeking volunteers to help staff at the disaster recovery center in Altadena. The DRC is located at 540 N. Woodbury Rd, 7 days a week from 9:00-5:00. We have two shifts each day, 9:00-1:00 and 1:00-5:00. The DRC will be open for 2 months and so the need for volunteers is tremendous.

NLSLA also has two reoccurring clinic opportunities:
1. Virtual Landlord/Tenant Clinic on Wednesdays for tenants impacted by the fires. Those without landlord tenant experience will be paired with an experienced volunteer.
2. FEMA Clinic on Thursdays. The first FEMA clinic is on February 6th from Noon to 3:00, in person and the second part is from 4:30-7:30 and virtual. The in person clinic is at the Maxwell House in Pasadena.
Anyone interested in any of these opportunities can contact Skip Koenig, the Director of Pro Bono at skipkoenig@nlsla.org
